Happy New Blog....

...and Happy New Year!!
One of my (many) New Year resolutions is to blog more frequently so those of you that don't follow me on FaceBook (and even those of you that do) can keep up with what I'm doing. Assuming I can keep up,with what I'm doing, of course.

First up this year in addition to the other Graphic Novels I'm working on (ERB's The Eternal Savage and the Curse of the Werewolf of Paris) I'll also be working on an additional soon-to-be-announced secret project with many other artists for Sequential Pulp/Dark Horse Comics and written by Martin Powell.
Here's a couple of teasers I did for it:

Now to bring you all up to date, I'm currently I'm still working on NFL's Rush Zone (on NickToons) and waiting for the next season to start.
I'm also working on a couple of kids books for HarperCollins featuring DC characters and I'm planning a new sketchbook or two. My original two (Expressions & Attitudes 1 and 2) sold out and the only one I have available is the The Art of Steven E Gordon that you can purchase at the CTNX marketplace for $11.95.
I think one of the new sketchbooks will be a compilation of the first 2 sketchbooks for those of you that missed them as well as adding some new material. I also might create a sketchbook that includes mostly my convention sketches.
I'm also thinking about self-publishing a children's book, that my wife helped me create, that is pretty independent of anything else I've done.

Needless to say this should be a pretty busy year for me....

Happy New Year! I'll be looking forward, as always, to hearing all about your many projects throughout the coming new year.

I hope to buy your CTNX Sketchboook soon! The first two are prized possessions of mine. When I moved back from Japan, I packed them in my carry on, because I didn't want to risk losing them. Good thing too, because my shipment of books was lost when the label fell off the box. So glad I chose to carry them with me ^__^

E.R.B. projects? Really good news! You’ll be happily busy...hope you get a pure John Carter of Mars assignment someday.

Happy 2013. Mr. Gordon! Looks like a busy year indeed. Will there be time for commisions in between?

@Blaze - I'm glad my books survived the transition, but I'm sorry to hear about your other books.

@R.George R. - yep, I'm on a couple of ERB projects, but it doesn't look like a JCoM is anywhere on the horizon, but who knows what the future will bring. I never thought I'd be doing these...

@dutchxfan - chances are good I will be doing commissions again. I'll announce it on the blog when I'm ready.

Tarzan...in the style of Steven E Gordon. I love that style.

Maybe this is a long shot, but can you arrange for some distribution in India? There will be a Comic Con coming up at New Delhi in a few days (maybe the next day), and I'd like to buy a copy locally- it's a lot easier that way, although I'm located in the Western city of Mumbai. I'll see how I can get the book, but I'd like a little expert feedback on some of my designs as well. Here, the comments are either bland or extreme - enthusiasts say it's awesome, while professionals say that it's still not up to the mark for a comic industry.

Arjun,
If you're referring to the Tarzan book then you'll have to wait awhile. They're not even finished yet.
If you're referring to my sketchbook then you can go to CTN's store and purchase them through there. I'm sure they'll ship to India.
